Founder / CEO of the Newpoint Companies, Wiley has four decades of experience in natural gas and hydrocarbon development. Founded in 1999, Newpoint was established as a natural gas processing and treating company supporting the oil & gas mid-stream industry. Since 2015, the focus of the organization has grown to include methane and hydrocarbon emissions. These efforts include starting the One Step In Foundation (1Si) , to advance communications between environmental organizations and oil & gas industry innovators.
With his international experience and an eye on developing new technologies, Wiley has advanced blue hydrogen power generation and the elimination of all process emissions from oil & gas production and transportation. Recent publications include papers, “Electrifying Oil & Gas to Power the World” which details the future of oil & gas development, “Every Last Drop” on monetizing flare gas in Hydrocarbon Engineering Magazine and “Blue Hydrogen – Power and Water Production” which demonstrates the value of blue hydrogen to protect the environment and produce water. Wiley’s experience also includes the design, construction of cryogenic gas processing facilities and technologies to extract natural gas contaminants including CO2, Arsenic, Oxygen, and H2S.
